Ok, so I put up the pictures in reverse order again... Start from the bottom and work your way up :)
One of the stops where you can connect to a ton of other metros
Pretty artwork in the station
I finally figured out how to do the color thing on my own! :) I really love seeing each new metro stop - they each have different colors.
I love purses! :)
Alex never seems to look at the camera...
Me and the (almost) birthday boy!
I'll have a pint of your best ale... ;-)
My end of the table
The other end...
There was gorgeous tilework on the ceiling of one stop at the metro
Everybody in one shot :)
Yummy yummy Indian food - I don't remember the names of everything but you can bet I'm going back...
Mat got a huge chicken leg as his appetizer...
A restaurant we considered - tarts and quiches :)
Notre Dame at night
After getting my ashes
Le Pere (sorry, don't know how to do the accent mark)
Famous stained glass window
A shrine?
Sun setting over statue
The entrance
Look at the intense stone work!
These guys were just kickin it in front of Notre Dame, sipping their champagne out of plastic cups...
Julia, me, and Chessa
So excited!
This made me think of a scene from a movie... An old man feeding the birds outside of Notre Dame...
Our Lady - so beautiful!
The dryers here don't work. I had to use ever available space to hang them up to dry. :(
For Dad - this is what a heater looks like. Water runs down the metal and heats the room somehow...
Some videos I took while in Notre Dame...

Once again, the photos are beautiful! Olivia said the movie is Mary Poppins.......she also recognized the stained glass window as she had to do an assignment with that as part of her report.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, like you, I'm taken away with the Metro stops! The color enhanced photos are really neat, and I still say you should make a Metro collage.
The videos are amazing, but I hope to see it in person someday!
P.S. What is can I just call you Louis?
